WHO WE ARE

At The Hutch, we’re all about elevating events with custom beverage experiences that leave a lasting impression. Born from a love of hosting unforgettable gatherings, The Hutch is more than just a mobile bar (though our converted horse trailer is pretty awesome)—it’s a team passionate about making every moment memorable, one sip at a time.

About Us

A little about us -

We’re Claire and Zach—The Hutchens—and the duo behind The Hutch. What started as a vision for something fun and memorable quickly turned into a true labor of love: a horse trailer transformed into a one-of-a-kind mobile bar.

With plenty of grit (and long hours), Zach brought The Hutch to life, combining craftsmanship and creativity to build a show-stopping centerpiece that turns heads at every event.
But it’s not just about the bar—it’s about the experience.

From award-worthy service to upbeat energy and seamless execution, our team is here to make sure your event flows effortlessly. You bring the guests—we’ll bring the good times (and the drinks).

Meet the Team

Zach Hutchens

Say hey to our guy Zach — the man behind the bar (and the build). He’s not your typical mobile bar owner… in fact, he spent the last decade as a physical therapist, helping people get back on their feet. But somewhere between patient charts and rehab sessions, he realized he wanted a different kind of impact — one that involved more family time, fresh air, and a whole lot more fun.

So, he rolled up his sleeves and got to work — literally. Zach poured his blood, sweat, and beers into renovating this mobile bar himself, turning a vision into something you can actually belly up to. What started as a side hustle became a passion project for both him and his family.

Now, in addition to rehab plans, he’s crafting good times — serving cold drinks, creating unforgettable moments, and bringing people together one pour at a time.

Claire Hutchens

Meet Claire!  Claire brings over a decade of hospitality experience, with a career that’s grown from kitchen assistant to owner of a beloved recreational cooking school, The Gourmandise School. Along the way, she’s worn just about every hat—marketing, operations, sales, and event planning—developing a well-rounded expertise and a deep understanding of what makes experiences truly memorable.

After years of leading as General Manager, Claire stepped back to focus on what matters most: spending more time with her family and less time commuting. But stepping back didn’t mean slowing down. A passionate food and beverage enthusiast and natural people person, she continues to channel her energy into creating meaningful, personalized experiences. With her eye for detail, love of connection, and commitment to making every client feel seen and celebrated, she’s ready to take gatherings to the next level, one perfectly curated event at a time.
